Word of the week: Stillness

What I'm reading: Cleo Wade's book, Heart Talk – Poetic Wisdom For a Better Life. It's raw and beautiful, the kind of life lessons learned through struggle. Make of this gem what you will  – a daily pep talk, a replenishing pause, a spark to start your day. Cleo absolutely nails it when she say's kindness is easier than we think, bravery belongs to us all, and love is something we all deserve (especially the kind that lives within us). This book is a brilliant companion to daily meditation and journalling. Grab yourself a copy here Quote I'm contemplating: "We are here to awaken from our illusion of separateness" – Thich Nhat Hanh

What I'm letting go of: Being so hard on myself... and worrying about things I cannot change. It's so easy to get caught up in day-to-day drama outside of our control and burn vital energy on 'stuff' that doesn't serve wellbeing. What will you let go of?

What I'm doing more of: Practicing gratitude and celebrating small wins... niche, heroic everyday moments that bring me closer to my goals (such as daily exercise, eating well, and being disciplined with my routine). What will you do more of?

Weekly mantra: We become the stories we tell ourselves. It is crucial that we, as narrators of our lives, frame our experiences with thoughts that heal, nurture, and motivate us. What's your story? I would love to hear how you're doing in these crazy times. I read and respond to every email. Until next time...
